A one-to-one class means that you can have your Spanish course tailor-made to suit your particular needs

 

Isaac Ramón (above) teaches on both our intensive Spanish courses and 1-2-1.

"Recent classes?" says Isaac. "I've had Polish, English, French and Japanese people, and a '1-2-2' class, with a Turk and a Russian, which was interesting!"

Most of them wanted private lessons for quite short periods, to help them with areas of Spanish they were finding difficult (the subjunctive, one of the few really complex areas of Spanish grammar, for example)

"But right now I'm teaching a Frenchman who wants to prepare properly for a job interview," Isaac says, "so we're doing exactly that: getting his CV right and doing lots of practice interviews."

 

 

One to one Spanish tuition at IH Barcelona

Our Individual Spanish Courses consist of 1, 2, 3 or more hours of individual, one-to-one Spanish tuition per day.

Students can either study entirely in this way, or, if they prefer, combine an intensive Spanish course in the mornings with 1 or more hours of individual tuition in the afternoons.

The contents, times and starting dates of these private classes can be arranged to suit the individual student's needs. For example, courses can be designed for people who need to develop negotiating skills, presentation skills, telephone skills, writing skills, etc.

We offer individual Spanish tuition at all levels from beginners to very advanced. We also offer individual tuition to students of all ages.

Prices

• €40 per hour (less than 10 hours)
• €38 per hour (10 hours or more)

If two students want to take individual classes together, these prices are increased by 20%.
