Arrival in Madrid
True, you probably won't - like Don Quijote (pictured, right, in the Plaza de España) arrive in Madrid by horse - but as you will see below, that's about the only way you can't get to one of Europe's best communicated capitals...!
By air
Madrid, being the capital of Spain and an important strategic centre, is served by many different airlines from all over the world. Our city has one airport, Barajas, (the fourth largest airport in Europe) which handles all international and national flights.
By train
The rail network is run by RENFE (Red Nacional de Ferrocarriles Españoles). RENFE publishes a railway guide in various languages showing train times and fares. Madrid has two main railway stations for long-distance as well as local trains: Atocha and Chamartín.
More rail information (in English) can be found on the RENFE website.
By bus
Madrid is well served by national and international bus services from all over Europe.
From Barajas there is also an airport bus which takes you into the city centre, as well as a Metro (subway) connection into the centre.
Meeting and Transfer Service
The school can provide the service of airport meeting and transport to or from the airport, price €49 (one way).
