Calendar 2008
The school would be open from 2 January to 19 December. Private classes can be arranged during the Christmas period.

We will be closed on these public holidays: January 1; March 20, 21; May 1, 2; August 15; December 8.

IH Madrid, if necessary, will organise alternative timetables in order to recuperate the lost classes that could be cancelled due to other public holidays.

Intensive Spanish courses with IH Madrid

Intensive 20+5 hours per week | Super Intensive 30+5 hours per week

The aim of our most popular course, intensive Spanish (pictured, above), is to achieve a sound level of communicative ability in the language, with emphasis on spoken style.

The classes cover all aspects of learning the Spanish language (oral and written communication, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation). These classes are ideal for people who want to make rapid progress in a short time.

Classes are 20 or 30 lessons a week (55 minutes each), every morning from 9.30 to 13.30 (from Monday to Friday), with a 20-minute break.

Those courses include extra hours of extracurricular activities: conversation club, culture classes and cultural and social acitivities.

Super Intensive courses continue from 14.30 to 16.30.

The average number of students per class is 8, with a maximum per group of 12.

All students, except absolute beginners, take a test to judge their level.

Starting dates (2008)

Note that non-beginner students, if required, may begin on any Monday. Complete beginners should start on the First or third Monday of each month.

The minimum period for attending classes is two weeks.

The minimum age is 16.
