How to get to Espanolé IH Valencia
1.- From any part of the city
The school is located in the city centre in a street called "La Nave" it is a pedestrian street, it is popular as the original XV century building of the University of Valencia is there.
It is next to Plaza Alfonso El Magnanimo and Pintor Sorolla street. It's is well connected with any part of the city by bus and metro:
By bus: 50 metres away from the school in "Pintor Sorolla" street (in front of the "Corte Inglés" door) there's a bus stop. Lines that stop here are: 4, 5B, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 26, 31, 32, 36, 70, 71, N2, N3.
By metro: Colón station is just 50 metres away (also in front of the "Corte Inglés" entrance) line 3 stops there.
2.- From the airport
The airport is in the town of Manises, about 8 km from Valencia. Flights from the main cities of Spain and Europe land there. Moreover, Valencia has connecting flights via Madrid and Barcelona for destinations all over the world.

By taxi
You can take a taxi from the airport to the school or to your accommodation; it takes around 25 minutes and costs between 15,00 and 20,00€.
There are three types of prices:
- Price 1: for the metropolitan area from 6 a.m. to 22 p.m.
- Price 2: for metropolitan area, from 22 p.m. in working days, and on Saturday, Sundays, and holidays in or out of the metropolitan area.
- Price 3: for Saturdays, Sundays and holiday out of the limits of the city.

By bus
You can take the "Aero-bus" it has three stops in the city (Avenida del Cid, Bailen and Angel Guimerá).
- To get to the school you have to get off in Bailen which is next to the Train Station (Estación del Norte), from there you can walk to the school
- To get to your accommodation you have to get off in Bailen (by the train station) from there you can take the metro ("Xativa") or another bus. If you prefer the bus, there is a stop just in front of the train station, across the road. More than 10 lines stop here so you can get to any place in the city. On the bus stop you can see the route map of each line. The journey takes about 40 minutes and costs €2.50.
- Aero-bus timetables: Airport-Valencia, every 20 minutes from 6:20 to 22:00; Valencia (C/Bailen)-Airport, every 20 minutes from 6:00 to 22:00
3.- From the train station
The trains coming from any point of the country stop at the 'Estación del Norte', located in the heart of the city.

- To get to the school: just walk for 10 minutes.
- To go to your accommodation there are several options:
By taxi. The cost will depend on your accommodation location, for school accommodation it shouldn't cost more than 10,00€. The minimum cost for a ride is 3,00€
By bus. If you prefer the bus, there is a stop just in front of the train station, across the road, more than 10 lines stop here so you can get to any place in the city. On the bus stop you can see the route map of each line.
There are different bus companies that cover the different areas of Valencia:
- Around the city (yellow colour)
- Other destinations: Departures from the Bus Station (Menéndez Pidal Avenue)
- Within the city (red colour) EMT (Valencia Local Transports Company). It has 91 lines by day and 7 by night, which will allow you to go even to the most hidden spot of the ciry. In most of the stops, you will find a map of the city with the routes of all the lines.
The price is 0,9 €, or you can buy a travelcard (called 'bonobús') at the post office/tobacconist's ('estanco') which are more economical (around 5,00€).By metro. In front of the main façade of the train station, you will find a metro entrance ('Xátiva').
Valencia's metro consists of 4 lines that cover the city. Each line is coloured, and the station map is easy to read . You can buy the tickets at the station. There are four underground lines that connect the centre of the city with the sorrounding towns:
Line 1A: Bétera-Villanueva de Castellón
Line 1B: Llíria-Torrent
Line 3: Rafelbunyol - Torrent
Line 4: Ademuz-Doctor LluchThe prices that you will find are:
- For a single ticket 1,20 (for zones A, B, C, D)
- Discount card 5,60 (zone A)
4.- From the Bus Station
Generally, the coaches that connect Valencia with other regions terminate at the coach station, which is in the north of the city.
Once you get to the Coach Station, you can take a taxi, a bus or the metro to get to the school or your accommodation.
- By taxi. A taxi to the school will cost you around €8.
- By bus. Just outside the bus station there's a bus stop where you can take buses to most parts of the city. To go to the school take line 4 and stop at "Plaza Tetuan".
- By metro. The nearest stop is Turia located at the Shopping Mall "Nuevo Centro" next to the bus station, there you can take line 1 (direction: 'Plaza de España'), to go to the school stop at "Angel Guimera" and then change to line 3 and stop in "Colon" metro station from there you have a 5 minute walk to the school.
