Special programs
One of the major features of The Colegio de Español La Janda is our flexibility, which allows us to meet the needs of our students. Thus any kind of programme beyond the usual courses may be requested, for large or small groups of students. Students, teachers or organizers may bring their interests and needs to us and receive - without obligation - a detailed course proposal.

Placement test
The Head of Studies and the teachers will welcome the students on Monday morning at eight thirty, when they will be given a placement test. If we are expecting a big in-take, students will be asked to come to school for the test on the Sunday evening in order not to lose time on the Monday.

Exams and certificates
At the end of each course, students receive a certificate of attendance stating the number of hours and the subjects studied. Students are also able to take an exam if they wish to receive a certificate with a grade.

 

 

Spanish courses in Vejer de la Frontera

IH Costa de la Luz-La Janda offers the following Spanish courses:

• Intensive Spanish course
  Our most popular course is our intensive Spanish program, with 20 classes a week and a full range of cultural activities.

We run Spanish courses all year round, but one popular option is our special Christmas Spanish course.

We also offer a super-intensive immersion Spanish course, with 30 classes a week.

• Spanish for teenagers
  Our teenage Spanish program (14-17 year olds) runs from mid-June to mid-August and includes 20 Spanish classes a week and a full range of social and cultural activities.
• Spanish + water sports
  Improve your Spanish and go kite surfing or open water diving in a truly stunning environment...
• DELE courses
  In spring, summer and autumn we run special courses to prepare for the DELE exams, the most widely recognised certificate in Spanish as a foreign language.
• One-to-one Spanish classes
  Private Spanish tuition is also available, the content of which can be designed to suit the student's needs, emphasizing for example general Spanish, business and legal Spanish, communication skills or specific exam preparation.
• Vejer and Seville
  A combined course, with a stay in both Vejer and Seville (just 130km away) is another alternative, offering an interesting contrast between the small town of Vejer and the bright lights of one of Spain's most lively cities.
• Spanish in Spain
  Combination courses with stays in the other Spanish cities in which IH Spain has schools are also possible.
